One-on-one sessions with the aim to explore and empower you to survive, cope and heal. I would be honored to listen to your story, help you process and move forward.
Couples therapy can be beneficial regardless of where you are in a relationship. Therapy will help you explore the choices behind you and the options ahead of you.
Every family could improve their communication, engagement and function. We can work together to assess strengths and needs, which can then be translated to strategies for a healthier family.

I'm Michelle (she/her/hers). I'm a graduate student at Wayne State University finishing up my M.A. in Counseling Psychology. I am excited to partner with Courage and Care Counseling to provide mental health services to children under 10, and adults either in person or via telehealth.
I am an eclectic therapist and use many modalities to best help my clients. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the individual based on their unique identity, experiences, and needs, rather than utilizing a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I use a client-centered, humanistic framework which includes existentialism, feminist theory, person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and can include behavioral approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
